What We Do

Remember driving without a GPS? Can you imagine doing that now?
We never go somewhere new without our phone and our maps app!

Fundraising without clarifying your intended outcomes is like jumping in your car without a GPS. Could you find your destination eventually? Maybe - but you’re going to go in circles for quite some time before you do! And even if you know where you’re going, you might hit some unexpected traffic and wish you had taken a more direct route.

Magenta is your roadmap to fundraising for maximum benefit.

Effective fundraising communications outline a persuasive case for how your organization will put dollars to work and illustrate your track record of impact. First, we’ll establish benchmarks, accountability, and a clear articulation of achieved goals: this toolkit improves nonprofit outcomes and efficacy. Next, we’ll develop communications that convince your donors the only thing standing between today’s problem and your shared vision for the future is their donation - which they’ll enthusiastically contribute once we’ve made our case.

Measure outcomes. Make the change. Maximize your impact with Magenta.

Case for Support

What it is:

A persuasive framework of initiatives and outcomes, supported by a timeline and budget, that compels donors to support your organization.

What It Will Do:
  • Illustrate the problem your organization exists to solve, and demonstrate your track record in solving it.
  • Streamline organizational initiatives, clarify fundraising priorities, and codify the outcomes of investing in your organization.
  • Craft a narrative that aligns your funding initiatives with the philanthropic priorities of potential donors.
  • Provide an outline for proposals, pitches, and grant applications.
Ideal For You If:
  • You’re embarking on a capital campaign initiative.
  • You’re preparing to scale up your programs, budget, or fundraising efforts.
  • You believe in your work’s impact, but your community struggles to understand exactly what you do, or how you do it.
  • You need a North Star that your team can reference for fundraising and marketing communications across various channels.
See An Example:
“For non-profits, building a one or two pager to tell our impact and story is something we do a lot of, but Grace from Magenta provided such a fresh perspective on what we needed to showcase our work in a concise way. She was able to utilize our strategic plan as our foundation to build a case for support document that is clear, impactful, and exactly what we’ve been missing and needing.”

— Kate Hewitt, Executive Director, 21st Century Leaders

Impact Communications Audit

What it is:

An independent assessment of your organization’s fundraising and marketing channels that evaluates your effectiveness in communicating your core mission, impact, and outcomes.
